Obligation of members

  • Each member, by virtue of membership, shall be deemed to have agreed to abide by the provisions of this Constitution and Rules.
  • Each member shall pay an entrance fee on first joining IT@AB of such amounts as IT@AB may in General Meeting decide from time to time and thereafter, by virtue of subsequent membership, shall be deemed to have agreed to pay such amount each year during membership as IT@AB in a General Meeting may from time to time decide, which amount shall be due and payable by the 31st of March of each year.
  • An application for membership of IT@AB shall be made by means of web based application form. Each Applicant is required to complete such application form correctly and in full and, in addition, upon request to supply such further information as IT@AB may reasonably require to decide upon the question of whether to admit such applicant as a member of IT@AB.
  • Membership is restricted to those applicants who, in the opinion of the Management Board, have the experience and capacity to contribute significantly to the achievement of the objectives of IT@AB.
  • Subject to the observance of the procedure hereinafter prescribed, and provided that IT@AB shall neither be obliged to admit into membership any applicant and nor give any reasons for such refusal, an applicant shall be admitted as a member immediately upon approval by IT@AB of his/her application
